While Mr. S has been on many plane trips, this is the first one he remembers...he had fun! As we were waiting on the runway, he kept asking me, "Are we flying yet Mom?" It was so cute! Really, both kids did fantastic on the airplane, in the airports (layover in Denver) and really, on the whole trip!
We flew in on Wednesday night and Thursday went to Lincoln, NE to see my Grama. Many of my memories in life took place in this pool, in that house. We moved 3 times in my growing up years, my Grama's house was always that one constant. It is a house that I have memories in every corner. While the brown shag carpet has been replaced, and the wallpaper a bit different from when I was little, it still smells like Grama's, feels like Grama's, and is one of my favorite places to be. She still had toys in the same drawer that I played in as a child...my kids had a blast! Sadly, I was a bit flaky and didn't get any pictures with Grama :(
After a fun filled day, we went back to my folk's house to relax.
On Thursday evening, Jeremy's sister, Melissa, her husband James and Mom, Marge, came to visit. It was SO fun to see them!!! I was very excited to rub "Sissa"s belly...she's having a baby girl sometime in November!
Grandma Marge doing what she does....take pictures!
My Brother and his family recently moved to Iowa. So, on Saturday night, my niece, K.C., stayed the night and played with Seth. Their 3 girls are SO sweet (always have been) and Seth really had a good time with KC and Emarrie (Michelle, 14, was too busy checking her email to play! heehee!)
My Mom quilts. Here she is putting the binding on my newest quilt. Jeremy's Grandma made the top, my Mom quilted it, and we all love to cuddle up in it!
While we were in Omaha, some friends of ours came up to visit. Sarah and I worked together as interpreters and we now have boys that are 3 days apart in age, and girls that are 6 months apart in age! We really had fun with them. We went to the Omaha Children's Museum...boy has it changed since I was a kid! It was so much fun! They had a special traveling Bob the Builder exhibit that the kids loved!
Seth, Noah and BOB!
Sarah is a photographer, so she did pictures of the kids for me. She sent me a couple of "teasers" in email last week...I can't wait to get the rest!

These last few pictures were taken the day before we left. We had such a great time. It was fun to see so many family and friends and just get away for awhile :)

Mr. Social has the same shirt as your little boy! We were coming back from Utah and walking across the hotel parking lot and heard another little boy call out, "Rock---ch---ah--lk, Jay---hawk,----K----U-----" (like they chant before the games).
